Quality is defined as the sum of:

. Knowing the customer's needs and expectations
. Meeting those needs and expectations
. Correct quality assurance
. Meeting agreed delivery dates
. Making use of our R&D laboratory to improve products

To accomplish these objectives, the company makes certain provisions which are described below. It recognises, however, that success is also dependent on the quality of individual performance and imposes a duty on all employees to work towards the stated objectives.

A documented quality system based on ISO 9001:2000 is operated by the company. This is fully described in the company's quality manual which is accessible to all employees via the company's computer network. (A copy of this policy statement is included in the manual.)

To strengthen our leading position in the Powder Coating Industry and complement the quality system, we are under taking the ISO 14001 Environmental Management system and the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Certification Processes.

The company employs a quality manager with specific responsibility for the development of the quality system and the co-ordination and monitoring of its effective implementation.

The company ensures that its quality policy, objectives and applicable system requirements are effectively communicated to all employees.

Regular internal audits are performed to verify compliance with all aspects of the quality system and to ensure that deficiencies are promptly corrected. Managers and their staff are required to co-operate fully with auditors in the performance of audits and the implementation of any corrective action arising from them.

Periodic external audits are also undertaken by suitably accredited and independent organisations. Their purpose is to provide an assurance of the company's commitment to quality and demonstrate the achievement of its objectives to customers. Similar obligations to those described above apply in these circumstances.

Attainment of quality objectives is ultimately measured by the success of the company.
