Leisure Industries

The Leisure industry is currently expanding and encompasses a wide range of products ranging from outdoor furniture through to Underground railway equipment all of which require a vast choice of Colour finishes.

Within the leisure industry, a number of new developments have also been made such as Cooler Coat Colour shift coating pigments.

The requirements for these finishes can vary from a cosmetic coating through to being highly resistant and specifically textured. Amongst the properties which our coatings provide are:


 Appearance:

 This can be achieved by a wide range of powder coatings available instantly in most RAL colours. For the leisure industry, appearance is particularly important for items including seating, playground equipment.


Corrosion Resistance:

 High quality finishes provide long term protection from aggressive environments for example salt and humidity. This is achieved by a range of performance coatings supported by the appropriate pre-treatments. Typical applications would include stadium seating and outdoor playground equipment.


Anti-Squeak/noise:

 Most commonly used in components which require design enhancement. Often achieved by partial dipping of the offending item into a thick film plastic finish, with cost and repeatability being the key objectives.


Texture:

 A choice of texture and feel is important for many items. We can achieve this choice using a variety of materials and application methods for example, a warm and soft texture can be obtained by dip coating in a range of materials.
